Summer is slowly coming to an end and everybody is already preparing to face the cold winter season, updating their wardrobes with the latest trendy styles and colors, according to the proposals suggested by stylists and fashion designs at the latest European fashion weeks for fall-winter 2010-2011.
However, as you know, fashion is always on the move and the top leather and fashion creators have already laid the groundwork for the new fashion trends of next spring summer 2011 in the matter of leather accessories such as handbags, wallets, belts and suitcases. They are ready to show their “creations” at the next Mipel trade show, the famous trade show which takes place in Milan (the capital of fashion) every six months and that draws the attention of thousands of visitors from all around the world.
This month too, the Mipel show will be set in the Fiera Milano area, starting from Sunday the 19th of September and running until Wednesday the 22nd of September, four complete days which will see more than 420 exhibitors proposing the best in handbags, suitcases, travel bags, wallets, belts and diaries for the spring-summer season 2011, everything strictly made in genuine leather.
These products are the result of technological innovations, marketing strategies, and studies, in order to create gorgeous hand crafted products that exude the elegance of Italy and of Italian craftsmanship.
The Mipel trade show will be arranged over about 30.000 square meters, distributed between pavilions 8, 12 and 16 and will give hospitality to about 16,000 expected visitors. The exhibition, as usual, will be divided into various different topical areas:
- the Gallery, reserved for the top world-famous brands which embody the desire of luxury;
- the Glamour area, dedicated to very high quality products;
- Fashion Trend and Accessories Trend, dedicated to the most innovative creations;
- Startup Area, for new companies which are taking part in this prestigious exhibition for the first time;
- Overseas section where visitors will find all the overseas trends and proposals.
All the companies showing their leather products at Mipel from September the 19th to September the 22nd, can also take part in the second edition of the “Fantasy competition – Mipel rewards your creativity”. Leather handbag producers in fact, will be called to personalize a canvas bag according to their talent and creative ability. The finished hand-decorated products will be then displayed in the welcome square at pavilion number 16 where they can be also voted for by people attending Mipel. They will then be judged by a technical jury and, among the voting visitors, one will be selected and the winner will be a guest at the following edition of Mipel, next March.
